Resident Evil 5 requrements help. I'm condsidering buying resident evil 5. The recommended specs are 2 GB RAM, and AMD Phenom x 4. The minimum specs are AMD Athlon x64 x2, and 1 GB RAM.
Well, I have the AMD Athlon x64 x2, but I have four GB RAM installed (3.25 usable). Would this made any noticable difference? I'm not in the mood to buy a $55 game thats gonna lag. Any ideas? Thanks alot in advance | My System Specs |

the bootleneck will always be HD, interent dl speed. LAG is a funtion of ping most of the time, you can minimize the effect but are at the mercy of your ISP.

And most new graphics cards have their own GPU (graphics processing unit), so the processor speed wont make much diffirence. Yes, with that processor and 4 gigs of RAM, the game will run fine, but only if you have a good graphics card.
EDIT: Just checked, your graphics card should be able to easily handle the game. Have fun! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Acer Veriton m261 (modded) OS Win 7 pro 64-bit, Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit CPU Intel Core 2 Duo 2.60 Ghz Motherboard Whatever came with the system Memory 4 gb ddr2 667 Mhz Graphics Card NVidia Geforce 9400 GS 1 gb ddr2 550 mhz GPU Sound Card Intergrated Monitor(s) Displays samsung SyncMaster 2494 24" Screen Resolution 1080p Keyboard Apple Aluminium (Awesome) Mouse Some awesome Dell mouse, really good. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 210, the Direct X diagnostics is messed because it said I have approximately 1895 MB in the card, but the box, says it's 512. So yeah, thats the recommended amount for RE4, plus I have alot of Windows 7 graphic settings off, like Aero and such. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS 64 bit Windows seven home premium CPU 2.7 GhZ AMD Athlon x2 x64 Motherboard Gigabyte M61PME-S2P Memory 4GB Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 1GB Sound Card Internal Realtek high quality Monitor(s) Displays 1 LCD ViewSonic Model VS10047 Screen Resolution 1280 x 1024 Keyboard Logitech wireless PS3 keyboard with trackpad Mouse DELL USB four button laser mouse PSU Blue Sonic 400W Peak Power Case Blue Sonic Cooling PSU, processor, graphics card, back panel, side panel.
