    Tom Clancy Hawx

Tom Clancy's "Hawx" demo runs lovely. In dx10 mode also.

Is it any fun with just a keyboard and mouse?

    I don't have a joystick!

I wouldn't have thought so. I use the 360 controller.
It is much easier with a controller. :)

Yeah, it kinda sucks with the keyboard and mouse. It's playable, but completely takes you out of any gaming experience you might have otherwise had.

any racing, fighting or flying game cannot really be enjoyed on the mouse & keyboard due to the lac of ''analogue sticks & pressure buttons'' which are required for turning, accelerating & breaking (amongst others)...

whereas 1st person & 3rd person shooters are in their element with the mouse & keyboard..... aiming with a mouse delivers far greater response & precision.

i gotta get myself a 360 controller at some point though.....

Yeah, I usually play those on a console, but after my 360 did a 3rd in a row RROD, I bought a ps3, it was nice, and boring... So traded it for a Wii, now the whole family enjoys it.

I suppose I'll just get mario kart...

I hate now how alot of newer pc games are built on the 360 button config now (or it seems, ie; nba2k9)

I use the logitech cordless rumblepad II... works great and can take a beating, just cant take my brother's coke being spilled on it... battery life runs phenomenal.... but i'm also playstation biased as well

I really liked the PS contoller until I tried the 360... much more natural.

Even after going back to PS3 the sticks are in an awkward position, and I don't have large hands so its not that!

Either way, both work, but considering its windows, I'm just glad the 360 would work nice... might pick one up.

I have been playing the full version with a mouse and keyboard and found it enjoyable... not as bad as i thought. This game is beautiful in DX10
