    Bioshock/oblivion combo not responding

Okay, today I bought a "Award Winning Combo" of Bioshock and Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. When I installed Bioshock and try to run it I get this "not responding" error. I have windows 7, I've tried changing the compatibility, I've tried installing the newest directX9. I've uninstalled and reinstalled three times and it still won't work. Anyone got a fix?

Please fill out your system specs. And the newest DirectX is 11 so why are you installing 9? Those games probably wont support it. I need to know your graphics card specs. Fill them out.

I hate to be a complete idiot but yeah. My model is listed now. Its a laptop, its the Toshiba Satilite A135-S4656 and I haven't done anything to it except max out ram, which is 2 gb. I've updated my drivers and everything so yeah.

i will be needing the processor, its speed, Ram, its speed, Graphics card memory amount, its speed. Your graphics card seems old. When did you buy the computer? If its been less than a year, download directX 11

I updated a bout a month or so ago. I did everything. A lot of people seem to be getting this error. I suppose no one has asked on this forum. Hm...

akutabimikami Windows 7 isn't the problem, sorry to say it is the poor excuse for a graphics card that Intel makes. Looking at the full specs for your laptop which can be found here,

    Model Content Page

it has the GMA 950 in it which pretty much doesn't have a snowball's chance in you-know-what of ever playing those games.

    Specs for Oblivion,

    The Elder Scrolls

    and specs for Bioshock,

    Official BioShock System Requirements

and the GMA 950 isn't even close to making the list for either. Sorry to say you want to play those games you're going to need a computer that meets at least the minimum requirements; and you can't upgrade the video on that laptop.

    Different games, different system requirements.
