    Diablo II LOD


    Hi everyone :)

    I just bought a new laptop and of course it came with windows 7.

    I downloaded diablo 2 with no problems until i tried to run the game.......

    I open the game and nothing happens... I open the task manager and it says it is running but its not...

    I google searched and cant seem to figure out how to fix this.

    I dont get any error or anything like that. but when i end the process it says it cant read the CD or it cannot find the Game.exe

    If someone can help that would be great.

    And btw, im using 32 bit

Ive tried Most of everthing i read on the earlier Forums the D2Vidtest said THIS COMPUTER CANNOT RUN DIABLO II ! video test did not detect any useable video modes... i have windows 7 obviously and my video card is really good not the best but good... I love Diablo its classic what should i try...

When I test my video it said I don't have direct x. Now when I test it it crashes. I installed direct x 9c. so I gave up. I loaded the virtual machine. I put xp on it and had the same problem besides it saying my xp is no authentic. Just wondering if other prople are playing diabloii lod on seven...

as anyone who knows, diablo 2 is an old game, i figured there would be compadibility errors. When i run it, i get an access violation error, i got a screen shot, posted below. The game never starts. It goes to a black screen like its going to start, than that error pops up and the game crashes
