Gears of War: WINDOWS 7 run fail

I'm affraid that GoW doesn't provide such an option... or maybe should do it somehow special??

did you buy it or download it? and from where?

it is original one... bought it 'bout 1.5 year ago. on my old cpu worked correctly (XP proffesional was there) now it cannot with win7 :-/

moreover, I tried this solution: Gears of War: Error "You cannot run the game with modified executable code" I did as they said, but the patch installer says "old file not found. however, a file of the same name was found. no update done since file contents do not match."

got no idea what else to do...

I'm sorry Lordbob75, but it seems that this is not a solution... installing and trying to run the game in XP/Vista compatibility didn't change the damn thing

Did you follow the exact instructions including all folders and not starting the game along with getting the patch?
