Age of empires III asian dynasties

When i try to play LAN with asian dynasties with my brother who's OS is windows XP sp3. It always crashes but doesn't crash on warchiefs or the original aoe3. How can i fix this i tried running it in compatibly mode for windows xp sp3, but that didn't work. How can i fix this? Thanks

The Windows 7 Compatibility Center says Asian Dynasties is fully compatible with Windows 7:

So your OS itself is probably not the issue. Can you play over LAN with someone using a different computer than your brother's? Can you play online at all (regular multiplayer)?
