Hi there zman67, welcome to SF!

This thread was originally about Windows Vista, but many people have said the fix works in Windows 7 as well: KOTOR 1+2: Vista Fix & Windows 7 Report - LucasForums

    Good luck!

Sure, I can definitely try. The first step is to flesh out your computer specs so I know exactly what your needs/capabilities are. Start with these: a) the specific edition and build of Win7 you're using; b) your RAM (I think you've confused it w/ HDD capacity); and c) everything else you can find by searching "System Information" in the Start menu search field, and clicking the first result.

Yes, I'm here. What I meant by fill out your system specs was click the 'User CP' link at the top of any SevenForums page, then on the left hand side click 'Edit System Spec'. You've done some of it already but please fill out the rest, especially your graphics card, which can be found like this: go to Start menu -> search "System Information" and click first result -> expand "Components" and click "Display"

From what you've told me so far, I can say it might be an issue with your processor - you're running an Intel Celeron, where the minimum CPU requirement for KotOR 2 is a Pentium III or Athlon. But hopefully that's not a problem - we'll figure it out.
