    Game Lag

Since i've upgraded to the new NVIDIA drivers (I doubt it's driver related though, because I tried a lot of driver) about a week ago my screen started to flash (the 'on' button on the monitor doesn't light on/off when this happens) and I started to get poor performance on every game that I played before installing the new drivers. Sometimes the screen will flash every 2 seconds and sometimes it doesn't flash for a few hours which is very annoying, I've found out that some colors cause the screen to flash more frequently (like grey or yellow) like when i open Paint the screen flashes very fast because of the grey area. Also, everytime I start the computer there's a memory dump BSOD and then the computer restarts and then everything works fine. Also I'm a game designer and I noticed some surfaces won't draw.

I notice your motherboard has an Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3100 (Intel GMA 3100).
Try uninstalling the Nvidia drivers, shut down your PC, remove the Nvidia 8800 GT card, boot to bios and turn on the built-in graphics card. If the problem goes away it might be your Nvidia 8800 GT card. If it doesn't it might be your monitor. Maybe try another monitor or another graphics card.

Also check here for latest bios and drivers

Thing is, I also noticed some windows with drop menus get "not responding" and the drop menu closes on click.
