Strange thing happens when I run FSX

Hello everyone and happy new year!!!

Just yesterday I installed Win 7 Ultimate x64.

I also installed FSX but when I click the fsx.exe nothing happens, fsx window doesn't appear although it exists in the processes list but it's stuck to 25% CPU forever and doesn't open.

My graphic card doesn't support DX11 is this the problem?

DX11 is compatible with cards that support DX10?

Could someone plz help?

DX 11 has nothing to do with fsx. What are you trying to do? run fsx? start, all programs, games. there ya go

So, please fill in your specs, and no, dx11 is not compatiple with a card that just supports dx10. And what is FSX? Download dx10 or 9 and try again.

I have dx10 and I use Windows 7 64bit with fsx. Dont understand your problem? What dx version u have doesnt matter with fsx unless you check dx10 peview mode "which I must say is pretty crappy" due to its bad coding. Also your gpu must support dx 10 in order for u to utillize it.

If you run dxdiag I bet that you will see that you have dx 11. Windows 7 comes with dx 11 and as far as i know you cant downgrade it.

Sure you can. Downgradeing is often neccesary cause of older gpus that dont support dx11.
