GTA IV Not communicating with Social Club

Hi, I have done nothing since I last played GTA 4 about 2 hours ago, and now, it will not work.

I launch GTAIV.exe and it says: GTA IV FATAL ERROR: Invalid resource detected

LaunchGTAIV.exe originally told me when I launched it that RGSC.exe could not be found.

Then, I added some registry info on where GTA IV was installed.

Now, it opens RGSC so everything seems good.

BUT: I press play and it says "The application you are attempting to launch no longer exists.

I already reinstalled the game and RGSC.exe twice with no luck. Could anyone help?

EDIT: I also forgot to mention the first time it didnt work, there was that window saying Windows blocked some features and asked if I wanted to allow access. I clicked it.

So, since you havent done anything, it could be an update that messed things up. Can you system restore? If not, re-install the game.

lol, since I got 7, my loved antivirus-the only one that didn't delete all my stuff because it's all "a virus", avast, wasn't working. So i got AVG and turns out it deleted xlive and some other stuff from my install folder so I just reinstalled and uninstalled AVG. Finally got avast working again. I never bother with reinstalling a game if I don't yet know the problem. Thanks for replying.
