Windows 7057 crashes all my games

Hi guys,

Does anyone have a similar problem, I have tried various different Nvidia drivers including the windows 7 181.71.

I can start a game but about 5 seconds in it will freeze and I have to restart the computer

I couldn't even get into Crysis, it gets to the menu screen, does a farting sound and freezes!

I never had any problems with 7000

I'm running Windows 7 7057 32bit
x2 8800GTS SLI
3Gig ram

UPDATE:

I've managed to get one game to work with 181.71 by turning SLI off

That seems to be the consensus on a couple of games these days - as long as LI is disabled a couple of games will work.

Of course, there are other caveats about some games as well, so the usual suspects apply: Have you tried compatibility mode, have you tried reinstalling (if these are not brand new installs), have you installed DirectX 9 Nov08 again (for any games that need it), etc....

Also, did you upgrade or clean install 7057?

I clean installed it

I've tried everything with crysis but to no avail, fortunately I've already completed it.

I managed to get stalker working by using compatibility for vista SP2 and turning SLI off.

I need to try some more games but there seems to be a bit of an issue with this build.
