    Games from xp

So just recently I got a new computer xps 9000 running 64-bit professional win 7. I have some games left from my old computer and I am wondering how would I get them to run? I get an error saying that the program is not a 32-bit program and so on. Would installing the virtual windows help getting the games to work? Most of the games are new such as hawx and dirt2. neither of those want to work tho. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Right click on the Executable file and go to Properties then the compatibility tab and change it to Windows XP... apply... attempt to run the program again

I've tried changing compatibility already, thanks tho, it seemed not to do anything when I changed the compatibility.

    Hi there,

You can try installing them under Windows XP Mode (Virtual PC). Download it here for free: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/vir.../download.aspx

Let us know how it goes.
