    Original Far Cry startup problems

Okay, so I'm new to this forum and I've looked all over the place in the search but can't find a solution.

I've just installed the original Far Cry without any problems and updated it with the patches.

When I enable AA and/or set the graphics to Very High and run the game, it hangs and when I go to task manager it says it's not responding. I can set the graphics to high and the game starts fine but was wondering if there's anyone who can shed light on this as I'd preferably like to run the game maxed out.

    OS: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit
    CPU: Intel Core2Duo E7500 3.16 (overclocked)
    RAM: 2Gb DDR
Video Card: PowerColor ATI HD4670 PCS 1Gb DDR3 AGP
    Catalyst: 10.1

Any other information about specs I have in my profile.

    Look forward to any replies.

    Hi LordReserei,

Take a look at this page and let me know if you have any questions. Your setup is definitely capable of maxing out Far Cry, so something there could be of help.

    Cheers,
