    Star Wars Battle Front 2

    Hey Guys

I went out and bought BF2 but I am having trouble installing it. It contains 4 disks and the installation always get to the same spot on the 3rd disk. It gets to E:\....\data\_LVL_PC\Sound\Global then says that an error has occurred. It says GameData\datd4.cab and also says Error : Data Error (cyclic redundancy check ).

Does anyone have any idea what that means and if so can you please help me.

It is a prob with the disk. cyclic redundancy check is a form of check sum or in otherwise a way to check if a file is damaged in some way.. Now the only option is the get a replacement disk ether by contacting custamer support or by bit torrent or any other option for downloading such files.

Check this page on the LucasArts site and email Support with your question. They may be able to send you backup media. Let us know how it goes.
