    Silkroad online freezing issue

    Hello, i'm using windows 7 32-bit.
My pc model is hp pavilion dv5 1135ee, with all drivers updated.
I used to play Silkroad online on windows vista normally. However, when i upgraded to windows 7 the game just keep freezing.Hope someone can help it's been 2 months that way.
Note:My vga is Geforce 9600M GT with the latest driver installed
Solutions which i tried so far:
1-Setting the core affinity to a single core.
2-Running in win xp and vista mod.
    3-Installing the nvidia beta driver.
    4-Reinstalling the game.
5-Running the game on my other pc with a clean windows 7 ultimate 32-bit, still getting same results.
    Any ideas :O

    Hi coolbyte,

Have you seen this thread? Silkroad Online Forums • View topic - SRO running on Windows 7

You may want to read through it and try some of the solutions suggested. If none of those work, I'd recommend posting there to cover more ground - but still come back here and we'll try to help as well. Let us know how it goes.

    Cheers,

    Hi again coolbyte,

The next thing that comes to mind is to try XP Mode (Virtual PC). You have Windows 7 Professional so you are eligible to download and run it. Here's the download page. It's basically an emulation/virtualization of Windows XP, different from XP Compatibility... And with 3 GB of RAM you should be okay performance-wise. I know it's a bit of a hassle, but it seems like this game is really important to you so I encourage you to try XP Mode. Let me know how it goes.

    Cheers,

Any ideas about what can cause such issue, as my friends have windows 7 and can play normally.
Edit:I did some search on the web and discovered it might be the dx 11, so can i install dx 9.0c beside having dx 11 or will it downgrade it.
This game is really important for me and i'm so lost, i dunno if it's a comptability problem or not. Please help, Thanks.

is that the Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family Graphics Driver always showed up a msg, this one (your computer doesn't meet the minimum requiremenets setup will now exit)
