Hi sinbin,

My only suggestion is this - with that GTS 250 under the hood, why limit yourself to a 17" screen?? Looking at your rig, I think either a 21" WS monitor or a smallish LCD HDTV should be your next investment

You can, of course, get some good tips on game performance here.

Cheers,

Walker

I'm just not into Call of Duty's Run-and-gun type of gameplay.

Team work is where it's at mate.

:cough: Battlefield :cough:

the only reason to go with a stronger card is to get more eye candy at a higher resolution and keep a decent framerate.
From your comments, I would just keep the GTS 250 unless you want to go with a larger higher resolution screen.

Apart from being one of the buggiest/glitchiest games to date.

I'm just not one of those 'Run & Gun' type of players.

Much more of a team player.

Battlefield style of play.

MW2 is garbage... a crappy, buggy console port brought to the public on a P2P network... it cannot be anything but garbage.

Odd lag? Please... running an FPS game on a P2P network virtually assures that everyone but the host lags. Go see for yourself:

Quote:
• Navigate to the folder: 'program files\steam\steamapps\common\call of duty modern warfare 2\players' and open the file config_mp.cfg

• Change scoresping_interval from 100 to 20, and maxbars from 4 to 10 (10 is the max).

• This means that each of the 10 bars represents 20ms, with full green being 20ms or lower, and 1 red being 200ms or higher.
