    BORDERLANDS pc freezing.

Well i bought borderlands last night and pretty much played it all night then when i got done fighting one of the bosses me pc froze. The only reason why i am being so anal is because i had pc freezing problems before then i fixed them and they have been gone for someitme now. When i google i see people having problems but they are all a bit different.

As soon as the boss died i was picking up the dropped items with a friend online then bam a complete freeze locked up no sound nothing.

    i have

    win7
    asus p6t deluxe v2
    i7 920
    corsair dominator 6gb
gtx 260 216 core (with the newest available drivers)

i know i only froze once but if it froze once it will freeze again.

then it happened again. is there any own issues with the microphone or something?

I think it had something to do with messing with the microphone settings in game. the 2 times i messed with it, it froze. all last night and all today i didnt touch mic settings and no freezes.

It was the dude with the big sledge hammer, what i think it was, was me messing with the microphone settings. I never touched them again and havent froze since, i even oced yesterday and have been playing and still no freeze.
