    CoD 5 not working.


    hi.

    i have problems with my cod5. when i launch the game. after 2 seconds, i am back to the desktop. and msg comes up. it tells me that there is a problem with cod5 and asks me to close the program. this happened for both MP and SP.. help me~!

    Install all the patches upto 1.7. I also had the same issue but it resolved after applying the patches.

    If sanjayaddya's solution doesn't work for you, could you please post the exact text of the error message you're seeing?

    lol I see people calling WaW CoD 5 all the time...there might be some confused people if the next CoD game released later this year is named something like Call of Duty 5: Vietnam

    I couldn't bother patching it and it works fine except for the occasional pauses. Honestly, sloppy game - 2GB+ for multiplayer patches.

    Update DirectX and your drivers with the guide in my sig.
