Windows 7: windows Live ID problems.. PC and xbox

I figured I'd post n see what people might say.. I made a windows live I'd account and name when I started playing grand theft Auto IV. It worked fine when I played it..

Now trying to sign into Xbox live with my email address it says that address is already linked to an account.. cuz it is, yet my password wont work on PC or on Xbox. Even after doing a recovery of my password on my PC..



Does anyone know windows live ID very well. I'd like to usemy daily email address for live that I linked it all to originally. But wont work ATM.. suggestions would be appreciated if anyone knows either or both well
