might have had a chance to be "one of the best of all time" but 60$, having to use IWnet and future paid PC DLC sealed it's fate on the PC platform imho | My System Specs | | OS Windows 8 Professional x64 CPU Intel Core i7-3770K @4.5 GHz Motherboard Asus Sabertooth Z77 Memory 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 Graphics Card Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 OC Sound Card Realtek Monitor(s) Displays HP 2711x 27" LED Screen Resolution 1920 X 1080p Keyboard Logitech K800 Mouse Logitech Performance Mouse MX PSU Strider Gold Evolution ST1000-G Case Raven RV01 Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives Crucial m4 256GB SSD (system)

it's good, great even but i wouldn't say it's one of the best games of all time. they really need to try something new the current and past wars in fps games are overdone, so are quake and unreal clones. give me something new. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom OS Windows 7 Ultimate Signature Edition CPU Intel Core i7 Extreme 3.33GHz Motherboard EVGA X-58 SLI Classified Memory 12GB DDR3 Graphics Card 2x EVGA 285 2GB in SLI Sound Card Creative Labs X-Fi ExtremeGamer Monitor(s) Displays 30" Viewsonic PSU Thermaltake 1000w supporting quad SLI Case Thermaltake Armor Full Tower Cooling Thermaltake V1 CPU+DIY Liquid cooling Hard Drives 2x1TB Western Digital 7200RPM in RAID 0/1TB WD My Book External HDD |

The only reason I bought it is that the guys I played with in a clan got it and the only way I could continue gaming with them was on MW2. I enjoyed gaming with them so I broke down and got it, then proceeded to do a wholesale PC upgrade to go along with it (I was due anyway).
I dislike the lobby system, I love how I'll have the map loaded but I have to wait until the counter to get to 10 for the "best host" to connect, it does a poor job of picking the best host, one of our clan members is a terrible host but it will pick him sometimes for some unknown reason.
I like some of the maps but overall I think the first MW was better for the multiplayer system. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Phenom II X4 955 BE Motherboard Asus Sabertooth 990FX Memory 8 GB OCZ BE 1667 Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX470 SC Monitor(s) Displays BenQ 19" Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Keyboard Logitech Mouse Cyborg R.A.T 7 PSU Thermaltake 850W Case Coolermaster Cosmos 1000 Cooling Air Hard Drives 256 GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD

I honestly think that MW2 has great gameplay. IWNet has destroyed it though and therefore takes away any positives that the game has. If the game were to have dedi server support I think that there would be nothing that could touch it. So to answer your question. It is the best game to ever hit consoles. It is one of the worst PC releases I have ever played. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU AMD Phenom II X4 945 Motherboard ASUS M4N98TD EVO AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a SLI Memory 8 GB G-Skill 1.5v DDR 3 1333Mhz Graphics Card (2) MSI 512MB GTS 250 SLI Sound Card Soundblaster Audigy 2 platinum Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 2255BW 22" Screen Resolution 1650 x 1050 Keyboard Zboard Merc Mouse Logitech MX-518 PSU Antec TP-750. I agree but I will add like others have said in this thread the VAC cheat protection is terrible for MW2...I knew it wasn't a good sign when I ran into an aimboter and lvl 10 prestige players the first day the game was released | My System Specs | | OS Windows 8 Professional x64 CPU Intel Core i7-3770K @4.5 GHz Motherboard Asus Sabertooth Z77 Memory 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3-1600 Graphics Card Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 OC Sound Card Realtek Monitor(s) Displays HP 2711x 27" LED Screen Resolution 1920 X 1080p Keyboard Logitech K800 Mouse Logitech Performance Mouse MX PSU Strider Gold Evolution ST1000-G Case Raven RV01 Cooling Noctua NH-D14 Hard Drives Crucial m4 256GB SSD (system)
