defiantly i ran a stress test with 4, and the mobo said it was at 70 degrees (-10 degree difference from actual) in a few secconds and the core can only do 70

Way too hot. My motherboard can hit less than 45 degrees celsius, and the CPU is under 50 degrees celsius.

The problem you will find with N64 and PS1 emulators is that even the best of them haven't been updated in a long time. They tried to rely on plugins instead of actual updates and many people forgot about them. You have to hope that old plugin works with your modern video card and the current DirectX. Though I was able to run them just fine if compatibility with games isn't always great.

I'd suggest buying an actual N64 instead but the games can be quite expensive. You'll need a solid gamepad with analog sticks, though.

No, I don't like playing old consoles. I prefer playing old games on the computer with an emulator.

By the way, I have a request. Could be hard, but can you guys link me to a review of the Toshiba Satellite A500-1DN? I've looked every where but couldn't find anything.

    64 bit emulators

okay i tried searching but i still find it odd that there is no actual 64bit emulator for the N64, i mean project 64 runs beautifully on win7 but this is how it goes an emulator for a 64bit gaming console, being emulated in 32bit architecture on a 64bit system! does anyone know if there is an actual 64bit version emulator for the N64?

Your reading way too much into it. it works, and it works good. why would there need to be a 64bit version? what could possibly improve? your a emulating a Nintendo 64, not some time machine.
