I play cybernations.net . It is a nation building game. It is all about politics really. Though you do build and run your own nation It takes years to get anywhere that is big enough to be someone. It is a really good game if you just give it a chance and talk to people and ask about it. Though do not let people rip you off. I will tell everyone this right now. Tech deals are 100 tech for 3million. But it is a fun game if you like this type of game. It is not video at all. It is all text based game. But I have been playing it for over a year now. I love it. It is seriously it's own little world outside of Real life. It is great.

    Cybernations

Hmmm looks pretty cool to me as i love strategy & nation building games :) like Rise of Nations, AOE I,II, Pharaoh, Civilisation though they all are not ALL about Nation/city building but also surviving the mission & also involves combat which again i love.
Definitely will try Cybernations but was wondering if it is not a Visual based game then How'll the player know where is he heading to??

You have to play it is different. You do not play to end up winning. You will never win. There is no winning. It is all about politics. It is more of a real life. But It has to be some fake to it. Obviously can't be all real. But just come try it. My name in the game is williamson69 Look me up and tell me that you are from windows 7 forums. I will guide you through the game a little when you first join. Your alliance you join will also help you just have to ask.

Empire Total War is a Excellent strategy game too IMHO. But it takes a bit of power to run.

As far as city builders go:
Grand Ages Rome is decent City Builder, and isnt that expensive.

Its a pretty laid back builder.
Just dont expect to much more than building & managing a large city or empire.

Does anyone know if it's possible to turn the blood off in F.E.A.R.? I know you can in Cube 2 and some other games. Otherwise, is there any other ways to turn it from M to T?

Diablo II! Myself and a mate are playing through it on and off right now, he just VPN's into my network with Hamachi² and we play a tcp/ip game. I'm having great fun with it, certainly brings back memory's...failing epically on Duriel for one!

Trying The Sims 2 to see what it's all about. It's kind of fun but I'm finding it rather tedious and am tempted to just go live my own life for some reason because of it.

    My parents didn't care when I started playing Doom back in 1994 and 1995 ( I was 12-13, I am 28 now) :)

Hell, I played Wolf3D shareware before my computer could even run Doom.

I mean come on, what is a little pixellated blood gonna do? It's not like it's Soldier of Fortune level gore in FEAR.
