As far as I'm aware it is one key one computer.

What your effectively asking is if you can run two games one key the answer is no.

He will have to purchase a key.

It doesn't matter about the disk it is the key which is key.

I purchased assassins creed 2 yesterday by way of download so having the disk means nothing really except it looks good on display.

I don't have steam myself but I guess if you log into your account, check for a my games or something.

Yes you can download from steam.

Check your steam account for the info and in the meantime hopefully someone with a steam account will call by.

    Just keep checking back.

I have a stream account and yes it does work but you will experience a tremendous amount of lag if you do not have a good connection. But the answer to your question is yes it will work with stream.

    No.

Your copy of MW2 (cd key) is tied to your steam account. The only way for your friend to play is for him to purchase his own cd key. He can use your disc to install the game, but that's about it.

I suggest you try and not get cute and have the both of you log in using your Steam ID... if you do, you'll lose your account.

Steam is jacked; they won't even let me give/transfer a game to my own damn wife.

He can play with your account, dont worry, but if you try and log in while he's already playing, you'll get an error saying that the account is already being used.

I have 6 copies purchased for the netcafe, so dont worry. The only problem is that you cannot play together with the same account.
