Windows 7 - Can't enter windowed mode on Maplestory |

Can't enter windowed mode on Maplestory Alt+Enter doesn't work, setting it in settings doesn't work, DxWnd doesn't work.
It just goes DING and stays fullscreen. Also tried -w in target.
Ran in all compatibility modes as admin and not as admin to no avail.

Hi Deus,
Judging by this thread and others, it's simply a problem with the way the game is coded. ust in case however, try rolling back your ATI driver to the previous version. Let me know how it goes.
Cheers,
Walker

The game will entered windowed mode when I'm running 1024x768 @ 75hz, and then I can resize to 1280x1024 @60hz and it stays windowed, but it won't window FROM 1280. Any ideas? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom built OS Windows 7 Professional 64-bit CPU i7 975 Extreme Edition Motherboard DX58SO Memory 3x2GB OCZ Gold-Plated for i7 Graphics Card 2x XFX ATI 5770, crossfired Sound Card none Monitor(s) Displays Dell e773c PSU Corsair 850W Case Cooler Master HAF 922 Cooling Lots of fans all over the case and internally on parts. No, I've never heard of that in any other game before.. but I've seen Maplestory issues all over these forums before, so I'm guessing it's a problem with the game itself. But it sounds like you were able to figure out a workaround - is that correct?
Cheers,
Walker

Kind of. It's extremely inconvenient to have to resize, open, window, and resize back to 1280.
The game's only detecting the ability to run at 75 and 85hz, where on my other computer with an ATI 3650 it finds 60hz.
Any ideas there? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom built OS Windows 7 Professional 64-bit CPU i7 975 Extreme Edition Motherboard DX58SO Memory 3x2GB OCZ Gold-Plated for i7 Graphics Card 2x XFX ATI 5770, crossfired Sound Card none Monitor(s) Displays Dell e773c PSU Corsair 850W Case Cooler Master HAF 922 Cooling Lots of fans all over the case and internally on parts. Again, that sounds like a driver issue. Did you try rolling back your graphics driver like I suggested, or updating to the newest one?
Cheers,
Walker
