    hm ideas anyone?


    alright so i have this game..... Soldiers: Heroes of World War II.... only problem is it won't work i keep getting a program must be terminated yet for no reason..... its the same problem in both 7 and vista.... even though i installed the pacth from the game makers.... anyway idea's anyone? thanks

    Poked around a bit on the forum but other than that thread didn't see much. Maybe you'll have better luck.

    yea i've tried all that already no such luck i've been and edited the registry before when that was the issue and fail there also.....

    Have you checked the event viewer logs for a faulting app module path etc?


    Have you tried running the .exe in Windows 98 /ME compatibility mode?

    haven't tried the first how do i do that? and yes i've tried compatibility mode several times

    Sorry mate, forgot this thread

    Type 'event' in the search bar open Event Viewer > Custom Views > Administrative Events and look for the error that pertains to the game crash and see if points to faulting module path:

    EG

    ok that was fail, i ran the game three times, got the error, then when to the administrative event viewer and there was nothing there....

    well i'm out of ideas.... short of cutting seven (which i don't want to do) and reinstalling xp... any other ideas?
