GTA San Andreas on Steam doesn't work!

I've already tried running the game in compatibility mode and it worked fine when I used to have Vista 32-bit. All my drivers are updated so I'm stumped at the moment....

Each time I start San Andreas it shows up in the Task Manager for a brief period of time under the image name "gta-sa.exe" then disappears. Don't know if anyone else has had the same problem since its on Steam but any insight would be extremely helpful.

(As a side note I also have GTA 3 and Vice City and they work fine.)

Try turning UAC off and then running the game as Administrator.

Forgot to mention that I already had UAC off and was running as admin.
