Windows 7 - How to make GTA SA run on Win 7?

Ok see i just got GTA SA for PC on my win 7. It just stops after the Nivida Meant to be played screen. It used to work on my lap top. It just doesnt work here. Anyhellp?

As far as i know it should work on windows 7, because I've played it on windows 7. Does your computer meet the game's minimum requirements? (which it should if you have windows 7) try uninstalling and reinstalling the game if you haven't already.

I don't have it installed right now but I remember I didn't have to do anything special to get it to run. Just installed and played. The usual suggestions is make sure Drivers are up-to-date and directx also.

Well i did torrent it leaglly...I had the game but lost the disk. But ummm i have the rquirmeants the crack works...Anything else?

Yea. When i tried it. The game wouldnt even start.

I have this game installed on my laptop (see specs) and it runs just fine. I didn't install in compatibility mode, and don't have to run it that way either. It worked fine from the beginning.

Like someone else mentioned, you may want to start the troubleshooting by updating your video card drivers.

ways to do....

1. Uninstall....Clean registry and then re-install it...

2. If cannot run compability Windows Xp SP3...

3. If cannot also... update graphic card driver...

4. If cannot also... re download new copy of GTA SA... maybe that one is already corrupt...

Guys. Could the crack be broken? Cause whn i replaced the crack it stopped freezing my computer. It just goes black and i can exit out of the game.

Absolutely.... I have come across my fair share of bad / poor cracks. Some minor problems can be corrected sometimes by trying a different crack.
