    Call of duty World at War startup problem.


    Today i was looking at my Windows 7 Pc, and i noticed that the original Windows 7 theme (all the nice looking stuff) was taking too long to shutdown (I was looking at performance issues and problems in the Event log) when i was shutting down my pc, so i changed the windows 7 theme to windows 7 basic, and i changed some of the services starting up automaticlly, i rebooted my pc and i tried to play Cod WaW sp (Call Of Duty World At War Single Player) and the game crashed giving me this message. "*Codwawsp program name* has to be closed with the following error 0x000142." can anybody help me?

    My pc specs are as following.

    Cpu=Intel dual core pentium D processor 3.0GHZ

    Video card=Nvidia 7300 GS (I wanted to update to the latest drivers, but a friend of mine told me that the latest drivers cause the Gpu fan to fail.)

    Hd=Maxtor 250gb 1.5Gb\s

    Memory=3gbs of memory (i dont know the whole specification.)

    i found a solution, i setup Creative Sound for Cod WaW, i deleted the files it made on cod waw, and on bf2142, and a few others. Thanks for looking at my thread.

Hi all :) call of duty - world at war is very slow on my 1 gb ram 2.66 ghz celeron cpu my msi g41tm motherboard and my at radeon hd 4300/4500 graphics card (fresh install) windows 7 ultimate
When playing COD WAW multiplayer online it freezes and says: COD WAW multiplayer has stopped working. It sometimes then says Unhandled Exception as the error. This usually happens anywhere from about 10mins of playing up to 1 hour. Im not sure if it is Punk Buster or somthing else causing...
When i turn on the game, it is starting to load the profile, then cod5 simply crashes and that thing is happening over and over again. Maybe someone can help me with this? I heard that i need to delete profiles and create the new one but i can't even find a folder with profiles on windows 7......
