Having serious problems with Icewind Dale I and II
I'm on Windows 7 64x, just freshly installed on my new laptop.
First the issue:
Installation goes through fine, even without setting compatability for the setup programs. Not a hitch.
When I click on the game to run it, either directly from the games folder or by using the game CD autorun (clicking 'PLAY' on the interface) sometimes I get a black screen (like the game is trying to run) and sometimes I don't, either way in about 2-3 seconds I get the "Icewind Dale (I or II) has stopped working". I click to search for a solution, and it does nothing.
I've tried running them both in all compatability modes with Run as Admin on and off. I have NO idea where to go with this. My system details follow, I'd appreciate any information or suggestions I can get:
ASUS U30Jc notebook
Windows 7 64x Home Premium
NVIDIA Geforce 310M (Dedicated, it's got that Optimus tech)
Intel Integrated Graphics
