Windows 7: Final Fantasy VII ??

Final Fantasy VII ??

So im having this problem trying to run Final Fantasy 7 on my build 7000. any help is appreciated. when i click the ff7.exe the screen goes black for about 2 seconds, then it comes back and says ff7.exe is not responding. really pissen me off. tried compatibility mode. tried the xp patch running in xp compatibility mode, tried a new exe, im outta ideas.

more than likely you wont get FF7 working since it uses i think DX7 or 8, and I'm not sure if it will run properly anyways.

its all good. jus got ePSXe, a Playstation emulator, and dl the psx verson. works great

most definately guys, good to know epsxe works good, i actually own the PS1 version so i can play straight off my disks

nice. i wish i had the disks, so i could play it on the ps3. gotta 104" screen. but i jus bootlegged em

U can get the iso from Emuparadise, burn it and enjoy, BUT read the rules first before u DL. have a nice day

Im a FF lover too, can't resist their story, characters.....etc...

i cant just burn the discs. the playstation3 wont read em unless theyre original. already tried lol. but im working on modifying the bluray drive right now. i think itll work. jus gotta wire in a manual eject button so it doesnt run through the bios.

I think there are many ways to make ur PS 3 read the pirate disc, google it on how to mod PS 3. All the best

I've played 7 and 9 off my disks, but it's definitely better to rip the ISOs from the disks and play with those. You won't have to worry about the occasional lag from the disk drive not responding fast enough. I just copy the disk to my hard drive then remove it when I'm done with the game/current disk.
