Act of War: Direct Action won't start?

I have windows 7 pro 64 bit and Act of War won't start at all. Does anybody have a fix on this?

It says ActofWar.exe has stopped working then another error box says "the procedure entry point FTC_Manager_LookupSize could not be located in the dynamic link library freetype.dll". This error box keeps on popping back up when you click OK, only solution is ending ActofWar.exe from task manager

    Hi zijincheng

Have you updated your DirectX Files....

From my Tips on Troubleshooting Game Issues

5 - Update your Direct X files - Contrary to popular belief, just because Windows 7 is DX11 capable doesn’t mean it has the latest DX9 files!!! Most game issues can be fixed by simply updating the DX files. BTW - Windows 7 is fully compatible with games and hardware that use older versions of DirectX

    Good luck

IMO, I knoe this game quite old

-run as admin(of course you did it)
    -try other compatibility(xp sp3)
-update the latest patch of the game

they said that act of war doesn't like more than 3gb of ram, so ii have to get a program that reduces the amount of ram windows recognizes to 3gb and restart, and voila, it works!
