Joystick doesnt work

Hey people!

My Joystick (Gravis Xtermintaor Dual control) doesnt work! Cant find any Win7 drivers for it, and i think GRAVIS doesnt exist anymore because they dont have a website, so i guess there'll never be a win7 driver.. What should i do?

many thanks for your responds!

Hi fritszoll,

You can check the Windows 7 Compatibility Center to see if your joystick is compatible with Windows 7 - Windows 7 Compatibility: Software Programs and Hardware Devices: Find Updates, Drivers, and Downloads

If it is compatible, the Compatibility Center will link you to manufacturer website where you can get the driver you need. It is not compatible, you can browse the Compatibility Center to find a new joystick.

Hope this helps!

Damm.. its not there in your list.. Why dont XP drivers work? It suggs that i've got to buy a new joystick just because i got a newer and 'better' OS..

Its not that i dont like windows 7, i love it! Its just that somethings dont work so great...

Hi fritszoll,

Since you have Windows 7 Ultimate, you could try installing the drivers (and whatever games you want to play) in XP Mode. Let me know if you have any questions about that...
