rise of flight access denied.

Have Rise of Flight game which is not supported by W7 but which many people find has no difficulty in playing
Problem
I have new system and new W7. Only played game once successfully. Came back and found access denied, Message as follows. Connection to master server was temporarily lost. check internet connections."
Actions taken so far
Checked all connections. Internet functioning on any other site. Contacted supplier and was to "check firewall not blocking, Start RoF.exe with administrative rights." I believe I have done that but
No result.
I would be grateful for any help as I am a computer illiterate

Hi jerryc. Have you installed the new v1.011 update? Apparently with that update around the beginning of March you no longer need the constant server connection. I don't have the game so I don't know exactly what the update does, but I thought it might be something you would want to look in to.

Sorry I didn't mention it but my game is only a week old. Also game is totally updated.
