Windows 7: Assassin's Creed II freeze

Hey guys,

I've been having this issue twice now already: after playing the game for like 20 minutes or so (actually it's quite randomly) my screen just freezes and nothing helps to get it back to work (CTRL+ALT+DEL, ...). So I have to reboot the system, obviously not healthy.. I'm playing it on windows 7 64- bit on a striker II extreme with 4 Gb of Patriot DDR3 RAM, a q9550 and a 9800GTX+.

Any ideas?

Here's a log I extracted from my pc after another crash, this time getting a lot of errors on many different things.. I am on a different computer now, because I no longer have an internet connection on mine (one of the errors)... In attachment is the event log of the errors from today.. Please help guys, this sucks! (it's quite along list, had to put it in word, because an evtx file is invalid..)

Set the affinity of the ACII process in task manager to only use 2 cores (core 0 and 1), it's a bug with quad core processors that seems it's never going to get fixed.

Thanks a lot, I'll try that. Is there any way to set the affinity for the application permanently, or do I just have to repeat it every time I want to play?

the Prio utility can remember affinity and process priority settings.
