    Risen (pc)

Would my system be able to handle Risen (2009/pc)? At least on low/medium settings with v-sync+anisotropic turned off? BTw does it run at all on win 7 x86? (My system specs is given below, click the menu)

    Risen System Requirements:
    Required Hardware Specifications:
    • OS: Win XP
    • CPU: 2.0 GHz
    • GPU: Direct X 9.1; Pixel Shader 3.0; 256 MB (GeForce 7900 - ATI 1800)
    • RAM: 1 GB
    • Hard disk: ~2.5 GB

    Recommended System Specifications:
    • OS Win XP or Vista
    • CPU: 3.0 GHz Dual Core
    • GPU: Direct X 9.1; Pixel Shader 3.0; 512 MB (GeForce 8800 - ATI Radeon HD 2900)
    • RAM: 2 GB
    • Hard disk: ~2.5 GB

looking at your specs you fall short in a couple of areas of the game requirements so the easiest way imho to see how it will perform on your system is to download the demo and experiment with the settings and see if you can get the game to play at a level that is acceptable to you or if downloading the demo isn't an option I guess you can try a site like can you run it? to get some idea of how it will perform

Risen is actually quite heavy on resources. You should be able to run it but as your aware it will be with the settings low.

ok, here's the news- Risen actually runs ok on my pc. It even runs on medium setting, but low settings are best for game playing, it's more or less smooth so far- I've just started.

that is good news because the requirements for the game were higher than I thought when I checked out the game specs glad it worked out for you

I'm glad myself, seems that xfx's 7600 gt was a pretty good card
