    PC FTW

Recently I rented Mass Effect 2 on the xbox 360 and it was fun so I decided I'm going to buy it. I was briefly debating between the PC or 360 version so I decided on the PC since it's cheaper and probably better looking with the higher resolution. Holy crap there's a huge difference. Better looking, load times are almost instantaneous vs the 360. The video cut scenes are smoother and better looking. Shooting at aliens is so much better with the mouse and keyboard(goes without saying). Honestly I don't see why anyone would by this on the 360 unless that's your only way to play the game for you. Especially the parts where you scan the planets for materials. Using the mouse to scan speeds that up incredibly.

A pc is way better than a 360 that's why it looks so good.

It's why I love PC, and playing games like Mass Effect 2 certainly shows how PC can be better.

I got ME2 on Monday, and been playing it to death all week. Played through it with my first ME1 character, then went back to ME1 to do a renegade character and almost finished ME2 with that one.

I would agree with you with you all on this. The only thing is I don't have the cash to build a rig to run it with all settings set to max.

Proving once again that PC's are better than consoles. Consoles are for the masses where PC's are for the true gaming connoisseur.

Not had a console since the old xbox so can't pass judgement on those but PC gaming is awsome in 1920-1080 on a 42" plasma.

I hear games a badly ported to pc though, unless dedicated, again I can't say because I've never run a new console.

Some games are badly ported over...however, you have games like Bioshock and Bioshock 2 and Assassin's Creed 2 which are just breathtaking, and much more playable on the PC.

I just wish they hadn't cancelled Alan Wake for PC...I went out and bought an Xbox just so I could play it. That game is amazing...right out of a Stephen King book.

When you finish the main campain on ME2 check out the DLC, especially Kasumi. I also noticed a new DLC release called Overload which I'll have to get

BioWare | Mass Effect | Information : Downloadable Content

Enjoy. BTW ME1 & 2 are two of my fav all time games. I made a thread here - So I bought Mass Effect 2...

And to add the the main topic of this thread... I've never owned a console anything so I only know PC games. For me, the day the PC games die is the day I quit playing games.
