Problem with installed games

All my computer games are not in full resolution. Both Warcraft 3 and Dialbo 2 open perfectly but they arent the full width of the screen. Is this windows 7 changing the resolution or the games?

I had the same issue with Diablo 2. It changes it i think. I just went into options and changed to a higher res and its fine now.
