    heroes of newerth + w7 = crash

    Hi guys.

I've been playing HoN since the beta came out and I got my new pc a few days ago. Since then my HoN keeps crashing every now and then. I got w7-64bit.

Has anyone had the same prob? How can I fix it?

There, filled in the specs i thought were the important one.

    From looking here,

Crashes & Graphics Problems - Heroes of Newerth Forums

seems to be a common thing with that game, and across all the OS'es it will run on not just Windows. Might be a good idea to have a good look over there and see what is cas=using it for others, and what if anything they have done to fix it.

I found this on the website stormy13: [READ] Crash/Lags with Nvidia Graphic Cards and Windows 7 - Heroes of Newerth Forums

It seems to be the solution, but I now wonder if someone could help me find those drivers? Because I am really bad at these things. I would really appreciate that.

So i downloaded the newest drivers, my HoN dosnt seem to crash anymore, but instead i get some epic freezelags. My pc just freeze's and sounds like this "BRRRRRR", then a few seconds later it will go back into the game...

Oh well, maybe theres nothing else to do, i just got to live with this.

If you haven't update the audio drivers as well (Realtek ALC 888S according to the specs for your Acer),

Was it smart of me when I downloaded the latest nvidia drivers? I've heard that sometimes the new drivers could be bad. Im not saying the drivers did somethin to my pc now, but still. Maybe some older drivers will fix the freezelagg aswell. Or am I totaly wrong?

BTW: Thanks for the audio drivers. Ive actually had some problems with my sound. Sometimes it just stops and I have to rs my pc. Hope it works now(=
