hi DaYiM, i may be wrong here, but i don't think a 64bit system was designed for gaming

Without some examples, we can't really do much. You mention that now they run, but very slowly...that would indicate another issue, such as missing or corrupt video drivers.

Yep, you may be wrong there. In fact, I'm sure of it. Why would an OS designed to us ALL of your system memory not be meant for gaming too? Some games can use multiple GB of memory, so imagine trying to run them on a system with 2 GB of memory and an x86 OS. Painful.

Around the time Vista was released, Microsoft started the Games for Windows initiative, which, among many other criteria, meant that the game was tested to run on both platforms.

How about checking this sticky... https://www.sevenforums.com/gaming/25...atibility.html.

And as pointed out, telling us which games you're having problems with helps. You can also check out my Tips on Troubleshooting Game Issues guide

Updating your Direct X files helps as well...

5 - Update your Direct X files - Contrary to popular belief, just because Windows 7 is DX11 capable doesn’t mean it has the latest DX9 files!!! Most game issues can be fixed by simply updating the DX files.
    Games played thus far under Vista & Win 7 (64-bit) - Fallout 3, Boarderlands, Bioshock 1 & 2, Mass Effect 1 & 2, F.E.A.R. 1 & 2, plus the expansion packs, Far Cry 1 & 2, Half-Life 1: Source, and Half-Life 2 Series (including EP1 & 2).

NFS - Shift & Dirt 2; as i mentioned all of these was working PERFECTLY.

PS: i tried to install all of them again & checked my Direct X Runtime.

Considering that all those games have only come out in the past year (and two of them in the past month), I have a feeling the problem is with your Windows install and not the games. Also not the first time you have had problems with things not running right,

    Some programs won't work!

When you installed Windows was it a clean install? Are all drivers installed and up to date?

    Checked or updated?

Also seeing that Dirt 2 is a newly released game I can't imagine it NOT working under Windows 7 x64 seeing that just about every PC & laptop vender is pushing out Windows 7 x64 like it's some sort of drug or vaccine.

My point... It's hard to imagine a game company ignoring this trend, seeing that they put the product out on PC.

    My two cents.

That's the thing i installed it from ORIGINAL DVD & i did a clean install.
Also i just Updated my Direct X; before i just checked it, also all my Drivers are.

PS: for my other thread about the programs i found that i need to run
some of them sometimes by RUN AS ADMIN...! <<< Don't know why?
but that didn't work for the game.

this is my laptop Performance Rate, i think it's acceptable, RIGHT?
PS: the Rate Score is 5.5 not 0.0, that's my other installed language.
