Destop Background Problem ? While Playing Game.....??

i have many high grahic games.But i want to minimize the games it Dosnt Minimize?
Why so? need help..& When I exit any games my destop backgroung turns black.and to change the theme i hav to restart my pc...........


plzz help me out ?????
