Oblivion overrides gamepad emulation!

I need some help. I just bought a Steelseries 3GC USB controller and the GOTY Oblivion game today, I’ve finally managed to figure out the right analog stick issue (via the “mode” button) and to get everything fully mapped out how I want it, but now the game is overriding those settings with its own and I can’t figure out how to stop it from doing that while also preserving the keyboard functions (as all won’t fit into this 12 button controller).

Can anybody out there please help me with this? Thanks!

It would appear once again I've spoken too soon... the game hides the control screen in Options (before it only listed "Keyboard" rather than "Mouse" and "Joystick" as well). So it's been taken care of, sorry lol.

Quicktime overrides my default m4a association with WMP
I'm running Win7 x64. Prior to QuickTime being installed, .m4a files would open up in WMP when I'm using IE8, which is my preference. Also, outside of IE, for example in Windows Explorer, double-clicking on a .m4a file also opens up WMP, per my association default. But as soon as I install...

Standard gamepad driver for Gravis Gamepad Pro USB?
Hi, I've got a Gravis Gamepad Pro USB and although a device is detected when I plug it in, it fails to install a driver. I can't find any Windows 7 x86 drivers on the net so I believe that I have to use some kind of standard HID driver to get it working, although I'm not sure which one. When...
