HELp! Error On the sims 1 expansion pack with windows 7!

    I was new here..
    Its my first post..
stop all the intro and let's start my problem~
I've installed the sims 1 expansion pack on my laptop on windows 7.
It runs successfully but when i start playing it,
i can't save my family and my houses that i build..
    i don't know what's the problem..
The source said that it only works with windows xp..
but i search for some of the posts here,
and some says that it works fine with their windows 7..
so, if anyone could give me any advice,
    would be perfect thanks!

    Welcome to the Seven Forums!

You say you installed the Sims 1 expansion pack. Can we assume that means you also installed the base Sims 1 game?

Try running the game as administrator. Assuming that the program opens directly from the desktop or start menu without the aid of a launcher app, you just right-click the shortcut for the game and click Run as administrator.

Good! To prevent yourself from having to do the extra step every time you launch the game, right-click the game shortcut, go to Properties, and in the Compatibility tab, check off "Run this program as an administrator".
