In general a laptop is always problematic for games because of the generally poor graphics. For serious gaming I would recommend a desktop. There you have a lot more options regarding the graphics and if the stock unit does not work you can always upgrade it. Additionally you have an advantage in regards to cooling which may be a serious bottleneck in a laptop.
