Trying to use the xbox360 controller on my computer

    Hello,

I'm trying to use the xbox360 controller in my computer, and every tutorial says I should disable the driver thing via the advanced boot menu...and seriously I don't know how to do it.

    thankss

well I managed to solve this problem. But still, I find it impossible to make the computer recognize my controller. Well, not the computer, but the driver I downloaded from microsof.com doesn't seem to work properly. Can anyone post a really confident tutorial??

    Thanks!

Is it an official xbox 360 controller?

    Wired or wireless?

Tbh, I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve...

Personally I plug the controller in, it gets detected. Then Windows Update finds the latest drivers - it just works

    Hello Wagner.

I have been through the same thing you have. Just to be clear what controller are you using? If you are using wireless you need some type of wireless adapter for your computer to recognize it. If you are using wired it is much easier to download a driver I found one on google but it turns out you can not use a charge and play cord to try and use your controller it won't work for some odd reason.

    Swifty.
