    Aspect Ratios

Right i'm running the nforce 185.85 drivers on my XFX 8600GTS 1130/730 on 22" 16:10 monitor with Windows 7 RC Build 7100 and I am having a little bit of trouble with some older games and the resolutions they are using. That is that I decided to install the original Sims and some other games like NFS Carbon don't have a widescreen resolution option and those black edges are really getting on my nerves. So is the any way to fix this and strech the resolutions that they are using or force a widescreen resolution?

    Help would be appreciated

For making old games run in widescreen resolutions, you might try Googling wide screen gaming and looking/asking around on those sites.

For stretching you should be able to find a scaling option in the nVidia driver options. I prefer the "black bars" to stretching though because it preserves the original aspect ratio (otherwise, people look short and fat or tall and skinny). I see people do this with TVs all the time now, and I tease them for "watching the high-gravity version."

I also had problems with the "bars". Check out this thread, it could be helpful. :)
