Windows 7: Old graphics problem

Hey guys, i'm having this issue right here with low graphics games (not old games just low graphics, really low graphics) where while i play the game the screen sometimes flashes white and grey stripes image, something similar to this:

it happens for:
diablo 2
guilty gear xx
warcraft 3

also my rig is:
windows 7 64bits
intel core 2 quad 2.4 ghz
nvidia 250gts
4 gb ddr2

Do you know what the problem might be?

I've never come across that one to be honest. Make sure that,

All cables, including the internal ones, are secure.

Make sure the graphics card is seated in the rail properly.

Check to make sure temps are within the manufacturers stated range.

Make sure all drivers for gfx card and direct x are up to date.

What kind of monitor are you using? Can you give me the name & model #?

You may need to adjust your screen to a lower resolution or display ratio in order to see the games, especially if your using a newer flat panel running at 1680X1050 which can not properly display low quality games.

I have an lg flatron w2241s, 23" diagonal with a maximum resolution of 1680x1050.

Have you attempted to lower your screen resolution or tinker around with your Monitor Settings?

Well diablo 2 only has 2 resolutions one of which is 640x480 which i can't use cuz it's too low, ggxx doesn't have any resolution to change available and warcraft 3 to be frank it actually worked maxing all the video setting but my concern is for those games which don't have a ton of video options.
