Windows 7: Faxes via Fax Server remain in inbox as Pending

SBS 2003 with fax modem. All XP PCs in domain fax without problems. Vista and Windows 7 PCs see the Fax Server, but all faxes just stay in Windows Fax & Scan inbox as Pending.



I also see in Tools/Fax Settings that the Device Name is missing and the option to select is greyed out.

I have deleted the fax server from Fax accounts, then created a new fax so that it goes through the wizard but still no go.

Is the Fax Server name just \\SBSname? I tried \\SBSname\faxname but it wasn't accepted.

What is the next step to fix?
