When it just says Windows XP in a Windows 7 Forum that's not much help is it? He said it in the post right above the one I quoted, so its not like you had to look far. You should have seen it by simply reading his question. But I will admit it was rude for me to say that in the way I did and I apologize if I offended you in any way. I didn't sleep well last night and my morning coffee is wearing off. Its not in there, but every other thing you could possibly change is. and the taskbar thumbnail preview ( disable,if possible ) Well, GodMode contains all the stuff you'll ever find in control panel and then some, so it's actually more convenient, but I could still track down how to do it if you insist. As for the thumbnail preview, are you talking about in explorer or on the task bar? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Vostro 1700 OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Core 2 Duo 2.00GHz T7250 Memory 4GB DDR2 667 Graphics Card Intel GM965 Sound Card SigmaTel HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays Built-in 17.2" and Insignia 22" Screen Resolution 1440x900 and 1360x768 Hard Drives 160GB Western Digital Scorpio Blue

What about " Always open all Control Panel Items when opening Control Panel" if i can't acces gpedit.msc ?
I'm still searching in Google. Thanks a lot for helping. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Intel7 920@2.67 Ghz Motherboard Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Memory 7 GB DDR3 Graphics Card GTX 285 PNY Sound Card SoundBlaster X-FI XtremeGamer Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 2443BW Screen Resolution 1920 x 1200 PSU Corsair 650 W Case Cooler Master HAF 922 Hard Drives 2 x Western Digital 6400 AAKS |

Dude, forget about the "all control panel items". you have something a lot better that Microsoft doesn't even want you to know about. Just to make sure, all you trying to get the control panel to show more items, or get it to show all the different icons, instead of categories?
I don't think there is a way to get rid of the previews completely, as they'd be necessary if you had more than one window of the same program open and both were minimized. Without you couldn't choose which to restore/maximize easily. Don't worry about turning off every new feature. You'd only be hurting yourself by doing so. Every Windows release from now on is going to have the majority of these features, or more complicated versions of them, so you might as well get used to a few of them. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell Vostro 1700 OS Windows 7 Professional x64 CPU Core 2 Duo 2.00GHz T7250 Memory 4GB DDR2 667 Graphics Card Intel GM965 Sound Card SigmaTel HD Audio Monitor(s) Displays Built-in 17.2" and Insignia 22" Screen Resolution 1440x900 and 1360x768 Hard Drives 160GB Western Digital Scorpio Blue
