Hi cliftonljones, welcome to the forums, run the system file checker SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker that will sort out any corrupt files for you

I did and it stated that after 60% it could not continue with the process. I guess I should have mentioned that. My apologies.

Well, first let me say that I apologize for the late response, but since my new job gets me up at 3am, I have had little time for anything.

As for the results below is the result from the disabling of the wmv network sharing disable.

I received an error msg 1053. The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
Windows could not stop the Windows Media Network Sharing Service service on Local computer.

Also, I have discovered that I have many corrupt files, but I have tried to run the scan on C:/ ,but it wants me schedule the scan, and it wont schedule it, SO I do not know waht to do about that either. Any help with it would be MOST appreciative. Thanks.

Corrupt CBS file
SFC /Scannow reports it cannot fix the CBS file. Should I be worried? If so, how can I correct the problem. I did a System Restore to no avail. Attached is a copy of the CBS.log file in hopes it will shed some light on the problem. Thank you.
