    all my programs will not open as they have an ink ext


    Hello had a problem yesterday decided to put my solataire game on the D drive which I then could not open, I was asked what would i like to open with so clicked on the soltaire game since then all my desktop and start programs want to start with this program which cannot happen. i did it again chose adobe , which changed all the icons and shortcuts to adobe they all have ink files whatever that means I cannot even open my live mail as it come up with adobe everything on my pc I want to open comes up with adobe. help my Pc is useless for me to work with

    Have you tried doing a system restore to before you changed the solitaire program?

    I think there is a way to restore all settings back to default, but I can't find it right now.

    I have tried something like it it was still the same will try it again may be I did not do it correctly

    I have tried the system restore it did not work it did not complete succesfully system restore failed to extract the file c/programe data\ trusteer an unspecified error accured during system restore 0x80070005
    any other advice please

    Check for a virus that might be causing this.

    Follow the guide I posted as the first reply, choose the .exe repair
